"I think I'm going to peak in CILTs."

It's late and I'm tired, but I'm just so darn happy. Today over 530 kids arrived to Tecumseh. This place is alive with laughter, silliness, friendships, faith and whimsy. Sumer Camp is what Tecumseh does best. We're off to a pretty rocking start.

Today was filled with new CILT Jar fun...

a sea of blue (dry-fit) staff polos...

reunion hugs...

visits on the porch from some of my fav home gal pals...

new CILTie friendships...

joy, so much joy...

friends, so many friends...

swim checks...

Longhouse porch sitting...

Choctaw...

Hopi...

Abnaki...

Kiva...

quirky passions like cool band-aids and Jibbitz...

a good 'ol fashion picket controvery of Chacos v. Crocs v. Tevas...

(takes me back to the Irving incident of 2011-- anyone remember that one?)

laughter till we were crying...

so many HSE friends...

the beautiful mass chaos before campfire begins...

the joy of being back with camp friends even if you're not in the same cabin...

 CILT Pack counselors...

Opening Campfire traditions...

sitting in circles before devotions with cabinmates...

spontaneous adventures like visiting the Laundry House to hear the old tale...

and CILT initiation.

The very most fun happens here.
