"The worst part about picking weeds was not the act of doing it but that you got poison ivy."

We're a week and a half away from the greatest week of the school year-- CAMP T FIELD TRIP WEEK! Our rookie counselors have a training day Sunday but everyone else is now prepared for Tecumseh. In honor of all that is to come I'd like to present you with some of my favorite moments from last year and some #tecumsehtuesday lists.

Top 10 Ways To Incorporate Tecumseh Into Your Life At Home:
1. During meals with your family/friends sing a grace, insist on no food waster and offer to hop the table after passing around the super spatula
2. Take a sleeping bag and pillow out to your porch with your siblings and explain you're having a cabin sleep out if your parents get confused
3. Wednesdays = Wolf Shirts
4. Take 15 minutes right after school for pop stop (no homework allowed)
5. Have your own devotion at night-- read Purpose Driven Life, Love Does or Jesus Calling (Bonus points if you light a candle)
6. Write love tanks to teachers and friends
7. Make and give away a friendship bracelet
8. Set your alarm to wake you up to a chapel song
9. Pick up trash even if it's not yours-- shared responsibilities don't exist only at Tecumseh
10. Choose a clinic this week-- something that you want to learn more about and make it happen

Top 10 Funniest Moments From Camp T Field Trips:
1. Rachel Nigh accidentally spilling over an entire table of cupcakes
2. The midnight search with Kennedy in Main Field with the lights of our car looking for a missing sweatshirt when we could not stop laughing
3. Star spinning with Beesley and HS counselors
4. Eating all of the baby food out of new baby food jars with a study group so they could do their plankton study
5. That one kid who kills it at Just Dance every year because they already know all of the words and moves for every single song
6. The 12 days of School skit when the room is silent before I give the "gossip" and they don't know how a teacher knows so much about them (because the counselors tell me all the info)
7. Scott's late night serenade for the counselors and teachers
8. The man, the myth, the legend: Dirk
9. The kid that surprises everyone during nominations and breaks out of their shell
10. Senior Night...
