This morning counselors were split into their Villages, Units, and Cabin partnerships. After much anxious anticipation everyone was relieved to find their spot.
We wanted to come up with a new way to decorate the hallways of the Longhouse. We're going to hang senior portraits of all of the CILT counselors and then add pictures of campers throughout the summer.
We're pretty thrilled about living in The Kokomo Longhouse.
Abnaki, Mel and Jessie, and Hopi, Arielle and Joy.
Choctaw, Shannon and I.
Week 1 Choctaw, Rachel and I.
When Kraft and I were in the same CILT session in 2003 every camper signed this banner. The counselors gave the banner to Kraft at the end of the summer and he pulled it back out today. It is so fun to see the names of our friends that used to be such a huge part of our camp life.
The Yurt, Kraft and Adam.
Team CILT is so excited for this summer.
We can't wait for the campers to arrive on Sunday.
God has great plans for this camp, for all of these campers, and for this entire staff team.
Have you heard about the really fun new game called send Sarah Wright mail at camp? You should play too.
After the all staff mudhike, complete with mud facial face plants, we cleaned up for Davey to take our staff picture.
And then we just kept taking more pictures...
Camp kids for life.
I love Sara McSoley. I love Sarah Mooney.
Kraft loves playing with little kids and they think he's hilarious.
There is something amazing about people that work at this place and I'm so thankful that it gets to be a part of my life for another summer.
This is a summer of friendship, of putting others before ourselves, about chasing after our dreams, and loving these kids.
