Happy Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Molenhouse!

Ruthie was one of my best friend's during my four years at Hope and this weekend I got the honor of being part of her wedding.

We traveled north to Traverse City on Friday night for the rehearsal of the ceremony and then a dinner with family and friends. I don't get to see these Hope friends very often and it was so fun to reunite and share in this celebration together. Tracy, Jami, Jenna and Carolyn, all bridesmaids, were close friends during college.

Ruth and John were set up by their mutual friends Carolyn and Dan and quickly fell in love. After many talks with Ruth about our future mystery husbands during college it was so cool to see them come together. She is so incredibly happy and full of joy at the thought of marrying John.

I loved the venue and all the decorations--it was just so beautiful with the flowers and twinkly lights and jars. The ceremony was under a pavilion roof with open sides so the wind was blowing through the whole time.

We hung out all morning and afternoon and got to watch Ruth get all excited. She was gorgeous.

More Hope friends arrived for the ceremony and I loved getting to reconnect with Nielson, Becca Currey and Becca Hawkins, Kelly, Sweas, Jami and Hannah. Friends traveled from Switzerland, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana and different parts of Michigan to all be together.

From start to finish it was a wonderful, beautiful weekend full of so much love.

I'm excited for Ruth and John to start this next part of their story together.

We decided it's a good thing people keep getting married so we can all keep seeing each other. Even if we're far away, these friends have a special place in my heart.
