"First with make up and now a jean jacket. When are you getting Converse?!"

Contrary to popular belief, the 2018 Winter Olympics actually began this Saturday night at Wyld Life Club. We welcomed in the games with enthusiasm, country pride and athletic ability.

I was thrilled to have a whole slew of new faces join us for the first time tonight at WL-- I love when more kids that I love get to be part of this.

Tonight our WL family competed as four different countries.
Switzerland:

South Africa:

Jamaica:

USA:

We had an Olympic Torch Relay to start off the games followed by the Figure Skating Competition which was scored by an esteemed panel of judges.

We had two runs of The Loge after we had some complication with melting ice and faulty sleds... but we figured it out.

The finale, medal-tie-breaker, of the night was the Human Curling Competition. Team Captains were out there with their brooms, everyone was cheering on their teams and nerves were heightened.

Johnna brought us home with a Club Talk about running this race set before us because Christ came to offer us life to the full. She told us, "Jesus say, 'I want you to fix your eyes on me and run to me.' He is worth running to. The God of all of creation wants to be in a relationship with you because of how much he loves you."
