Live, Laugh, Love

These letters came in the mail today from Kelsey and Maddie-- they were two of the greatest gifts ever. Letters are a totally underrated form of communication. I am a total advocate of snail mail.

I think that all of you should sit down this weekend and take 10 minutes to write a letter to someone you miss or someone you think is really great or someone that needs encouragement or someone you love or someone that just went to college or someone that you used to go to college with.

Coll, Rach and I are all sick right now. Gross. I went and joined them for a couple hours on the couch to eat dinner and be sick together--we love companionship. I hadn't seen Colleen since camp and it was so perfect to just sit with both of them and talk about the past week and our experiences in college and dreams for our life.

SARAH BRIGGS IS BACK! She had to come to Indy for a wedding so she's here for the WHOLE weekend and I'm SO EXCITED. Tonight what we do best and all gathered at Jon and Annie's to sit and talk in their kitchen. I don't think I've ever watched TV at their house because we'd so much rather all cram into the kitchen and tell stories and laugh and talk and live life like this all together.

The Nikcevich's come over from next door and Avery and Abby come in together and Michelle arrives and the group just keeps growing. Annie keeps trying to feed us snacks and Linda makes her tell the story of getting Raelyn's foot in the grocery cart again. I love this.

Brics (Broad Ripple Ice Cream Station) is an old train station turned ice-cream shop that we visited tonight. Oatmeal Cookie ice-cream is my new obsession.

Sar wanted to go do something fun so we jumped back in the car. A couple of adventures later we found ourselves sitting in the Butler Bowl bleachers in a circle, looking up at the stairs, answering the question, "If you had to pick three words for your year, like live laugh love but way cooler, what would they be?"

Abide, Thankfulness, Home

Growth, Relationships, Joy

Pursue, Invest, Commit

Wholeheartedly, Expressive, Companionship

Beauty, Me, Seek

Contentment, Maturity, Security

What would your three words be?
