"Come be in our parade-- here's a balloon!" Wyld Life Love Does Parade 2016

Whimsy. Balloons. Dreams. Blaring music. Dancing. Friends. Wall graffiti. Loaves of bread. Candy and Cupcakes. Bikes. Scooters.

Tonight was one we will remember. The first ever Wyld Life Parade was everything we dreamed it would be and more.

Leaders and parents delivered balloons and cupcakes for the event. After leadership we went outside to wait for all of  our friends to arrive. And then it just seems like a fabulous idea to ride my bike while holding 50 balloons.

Wyld Life kids are my people-- girls like Nicole, McKenna, Payton and Brooke are just the greatest.

And these HS leaders are the best of the best.

I'm so happy that 6th graders like Audrey are now part of Wyld Life.

Kathy and Kathryn are the bomb. Everyone could use them in their life.

When I grow up I want to be like Brookie and Katie.

So spicy. So fun.

You can't help but want to be part of this party.

A dancing, jumping, rainbow-just-exploded kind of party.

Well, well, well. Look who came to Wyld Life tonight.

And then we were off-- the first (hopefully annual) Wyld Life Parade was on the move.

Last week while we listened to Bob Goff talk about the parade he has on his block every year, Kathy leaned over to me and said, "Could we have a parade next week at Wyld Life?" WE'RE MAKING THINGS HAPPEN PEOPLE. Living the dream.

I'm all about this. Every day should feel this happy.

We made some friends and passed out balloons along the way.

We proved you can never have too many streamers.

This is just the greatest isn't it?

I wish I could bottle up this sprinkle fun and make each day this happy.

"So you might be wondering why did we just have a parade? Well I say, WHY NOT HAVE A PARADE!"

We may have picked up a few kids along the parade route.

KCraig had all the kids have a moment of silent prayer. Then we all let our balloons go and fly away together.

These are so tight. Don't just scroll on down-- totally worth reading all of the responses from our Wyld Life kids and leaders to the question on each sheet.
