My friend Taylor came with me to watch my students' Christmas choir concert tonight.
I love seeing my students and friendship bracelet girls up on stage in their sparkly blue tops and tuxedo/cummerbund/bow-tie outfits. They're all a little bit nervous and sometimes they're snapping isn't quite on beat but they have fun. I can still picture their huge smiles and bobbing heads.
Highlights were the girls 60s themed number about starting a new year and the four-part harmony of Carol of the Bells.
My favorite part was seeing my students afterwards and meeting their parents, little brothers and sisters. Can't believe I only have two more days with these students.
