Every year Carmel HS presents Holiday Spectacular! Our young life team went tonight and took up a whole row in the balcony. We know a few kids and had to squint to pick them out.
There are about 10 different choirs and hundreds of talented dancers and singers. They have different outfits and probs for every song-- we've estimated they could feed an entire African country for a week with all the money they spent on costumes.
My favorite was easily the number where about fifty assorted Barbie's took the stage and sang "All the Single Ladies." The light up space age outfits made "Pinball Santa" and "Don't Stop Believin" a close second.
We finished the night off sharing a giant cookie sundae and triple chocolate cake.
I wish I could be a Barbie singing "Single Ladies". That might be my new dream. Seriously.
