Why is the trash bag moving?

Sar, Grace and I led the devotion this morning. I read part of Shauna Niequist's Bittersweet about Christmas and then we talked about the tradition of quilt camp, "God with us", CILT love tanks, family, and friends. Quilt Camp has been going on for over 20 years and it is incredible to witness and be a part of this community of women. So many of them have found dear friends in these weekends and they bring their loved ones to join in the fun.

The binding-fairy came in the night and finished the quilt! Yes, we are sporting the bows for day 3.

We had an intense Amazing Race- Polka-Dot Ninjas (green team) v. the Candy-Canes (red team). The girls flew down the stairs, raced through rooms, rolled plates, flung was washers, flipped plates, hung ornaments, stacked oreos, and transferred a bowl of m & m's by sucking them up with a straw. It was a close race and the green team barely won. We were sweating by the end.

The weekend wouldn't be complete without one more game of sardines. Gabrielle was in this trash can for about half an hour and no one found her.
