"Uh I don't know who you Muppets are, my manager just told me to come."

I thought I was going to have a night just to chill out at home but instead found myself at the Muppets movie. I'm not a a huge fan of puppets or cartoon like things but had heard great reviews. And what do you know it was really funny. And listening to the laughter of Tom, David, Mark, Kraft and Tony throughout the entire thing made it that much funnier.

And a large choreographed dance number can always win me over. This had a great one. (Sidenote- While subbing in a general music class today I asked the students if they ever watch musicals since we had just watched an opera all period. One of the boys looked at me confused, "What's a musical?" and then his face lit up, "Oh! Like that High School Musical. No, we don't get to watch that in here.")

I haven't been paying attention to movies lately but tonight I got really excited about these three.

Drew Barrymore, saving whales, inspirational moment after inspirational moment.

Matt Damon,  two cute kids, a movie sure to have a happy ending.

So many wonderful characters, overlapping stories of anticipation and love, classic.
