Last year I kept a list for the first time of all the books I read during the year. It was interesting to look back and see how much I actually read over the course of year and which books stood out. Book list year two, here we go.
March
1. Divergent by Veronica Roth (Loved it- YA dystopian novel)
2. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green (Loved it- Fictional HS kids with cancer in Indy)
3. Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult (Liked it- Still love Jodi books but it was just way too much about wolves for me)
April
4. Just Don't Fall by Josh Sundquist (Liked it- Really funny autobiography of cancer survivor and paralympic skier)
5. The List by Siobhan Vivian (Loved it- Fictional story of one week in the lives of eight HS girls, the prettiest and ugliest of every grade)
6. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Liked it- Mara suffers from PTSD and finds her unlikely match in Noah, really intense and strange)
7. Bloom by Kelle Hampton (Loved it- Kelle Hampton's, blogger and photographer, first book and memoir. Accounts the birth of her daughter Nella, who has Down Syndrome, and how that has shaped her, her family and her friends in her first year)
8. Bruiser by Neal Shusterman (Liked it- Siblings Bronte and Tennyson come along an unlikely friend in Brew, aka Bruiser, and the thing that makes his so unique is finally discovered after being a carefully gaurded secret.)
May
9. Love Does by Bob Goff (LOVED IT- One of my favorite books I've ever read. A collection of stories from Bob's life about how love is an action. Love does.)
10. Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah (Loved it- The story of best friends Kate and Tully through their life long friendship. I didn't love both of the girls all the way through but I did cry for the last fifty pages or so.)
