National Y Camp Shirt Day is today and you know baby Lincoln is Tecumseh's smallest (in size)... biggest (in heart)... fan. He's already registered to be a Tripper in about a decade.
This is my oldest Camp T shirt, purchased when I was just a tiny day camp kid myself. If it fits me now it must have been a dress on me when I was eight.
Katie is such a good mom. You know, I'm pretty sure she loves baby Linc more than campers love closing campfire on Friday night. And did you know he took TWO naps today IN HIS CRIB? Huge success.
In lieu of club, the girls gathered for cookies and potholder headbands tonight. Mac suggested we make them yesterday because they would be perfect for Spring Break. It was a brilliant plan.
Cause here's the thing about girls; we just love hanging out and talking. It's one of the strengths of our gender you know.
We wove headbands in neon patterns, ate far too many cookies, got face massages from Eshan, told stories about today and why we can't wait for Spring Break and the Hunger Games premier Thursday and spontaneously broke into song.
These are the kind of days that I love. I'm so lucky to get to share life with these girls. I hope that today you got to spend time with people that make you really happy.
Hooray! Lincoln's crib-naps made the blog! And I DEFinitely love him more than closing campfire :) This summer my goal is to make him a mini-potholder-headband.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I can make him one today. He can have one to match every onsie.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Oh my gracious!!! That has to be the cutest little Tecumseh wanna -be camper I have ever seen! Love the headband and Tripper t -shirt. Can't wait to see Lincoln at his first campfire this summer! Fun times ahead!!
