"That's the sugar and carbonation. Is this a stumbling block for you? Can you handle this?"

Watch out world-- Lizzie is back. After a wild tour of New Zealand and Australia, Liz Koch has returned to Camp Tecumseh for the next three weeks. She'll be part of the CILT family for Session 2 while Grace and I take turns leaving for running and YL things. We're thrilled that Liz is here.

We had so many visitors that we love on the Longhouse porch today. We got to see Miss Emily Painter of Session 2 last summer. Colleen Leonard and Shannon Flynn both dropped off their little sisters.

Check-In days are full of all your favorite things-- head checks, swim checks, cabin and village photos, dining hall procedures...

Meet Choctaw...

Abnaki...

The Kiva...

and Hopi...

At Opening Campfire the entire CILT family represented 49 of the 50 states. I'll let you figure out which one we're missing.

I dressed up as my grandma Mary Keeley who lives in New Hampshire. As we wall mingled around the flagpole we got to see our LV friends like Tanner and Jillian...

Sarah, Kendall and Natalie...

Ed and Anna...

Sarah, Mary Kate and Corinne...

There are moments when I slow down for a second and realize that I am just so darn lucky to be here and to be surrounded by people like Emma and Liz every day.

Kristin, Ellyn and I are gymping strong into week 3. Check us working on our 5-string twists and trying to get that membership in the very exclusive GLA.

The Mayor of Camp Tecumseh would like to wish you all a very happy week 3. Make it the best week of the summer yet my friends.
