Merry Christmas from the slopes!

Christmas Eve was filled with more playing and more skiing. Lincoln got used to our new home and climbed all over the place.

Katie, Nick and I had so much fun finding all the different paths in the woods together. Grandma and Grandpa brought Linc over on our fixed up sled for lunch.

Linc loved all the people watching in the Lodge and dipping more french fries and playing with his Mom.

Then we were back out to the mountain for more skiing!

Nick was all about the jumps in the woods and Katie mastered the snow jump. #skills

We came home to find Mom playing with the Lincster. They're best friends.

We finally built a fire in the fireplace and everyone was ready for Christmas Eve.

Nick opened up a present early, Settlers of Catan, so we could play tonight. I learned to play in Africa with Hope friends and have since played with Young Life leaders. Tonight I was the only one who had played before, so I won't put too much stake in my victory.

Unfortunately just before we went to bed I also came down with the stomach flu... I'll spare you the details but I didn't feel too hot for the next few days and am still just getting over it.

Christmas morning arrived bright and early with stockings and pancakes and so much fun. Linc is learning to rip open the paper on his presents and it was so fun to watch. The best one was seeing him open up his new dump truck.

While Katie and Nick hit the slopes the rest of us took a Christmas nap. Then we bundled up to go meet them for lunch. Linc wore his new ski Christmas shirt to fit in with everyone in their gear.

We took some naps in the afternoon and then got dressed up for our Christmas dinner. Yep. Katie and I are matching and yes we had to turn Linc upside down to laugh. We tried out more games after dinner-- Tenzi, Can You Name 5?, Blink and more Settlers.

This morning was our last day at Crystal Mountain. They opened up the whole backside of the mountain for Nick to explore the trails and the rest of us packed up.

We had one more lunch all together before heading home. It was such an awesome vacation and so fun to get to spend this time all together. I'm lucky to have such a great family.

Merry Christmas everyone!
