About a year ago I was at Jenna's house for a leadership meeting. Sar and I had both gotten there early and Jenna was telling us about her first couple dates with a guy named Kyle she had just been set up with. She was giddy. Jenna played us the two voicemails she had from him and giggled, she already thought he was so funny.
Today Jenna and Kyle got married. They had just celebrated their one year anniversary together. It's been so cool to witness Kyle being introduced to Young Life, hearing Jenna talk about him, anticipating their engagement and freaking out when it happened, listening to wedding planning ideas, going to showers and parties and seeing the dress. We've been talking about this event for months, how it was going to be the best wedding ever.
There were so many of our favorite people here. From college friends to committee families, the Houghton children toYoung Life friends. It was quite the mix of people.
The venue was beautiful and Kyle and Jenna got a great band. We danced till midnight. I loved that so many people were excited about dancing--these people have moves.
We're so excited and thankful for you Jenna and Kyle.
